Children’s Hospital of San Diego moves forward with adding "Infant Development Center" Software module to their Infant Developmental and Follow-up programs
San Francisco, CA – October 19, 2003 – Site of Care Systems, the global leader and provider of neonatal and perinatal integrated information systems announced today that Children’s Hospital of San Diego moved forward with adding the "Infant Development Center" module to their existing neonatal information suite. Children’s Hospital of San Diego has been utilizing Site of Care’s nursery module for physician documentation and regulatory reporting and daily automation of their Progress Notes, H&P’s, and Discharge summaries. The addition of The Infant Development Center module will provide a turn-key solution for their Infant Developmental and Follow-up programs. When used in conjunction with the Daily Baby module, patient data captured earlier during the patient’s stay in the NICU can be linked with high-risk follow-up. This structure and functionality provides a powerful tool for longitudinal research and outcome analysis and assessment. The module can also aid in visit planning and appointment scheduling.
