St. Luke’s Hospital, a Sutter Health Affiliate plans to launch Site of Care System’s comprehensive perinatal and neonatal outcome analysis software across their women and children’s service lines
San Francisco, CA – September 29, 2003 – Site of Care Systems, the leading provider of integrated perinatal and neonatal outcome data management tools announced today the addition of St. Luke’s Hospital to their expanding list of customers. The Hospital plans to implement Site of Care across the Women and Children Service Line. The Antepartum Testing Center, Perinatal Data Center, and The Daily Baby Center are designed to collect comprehensive data on all phases of the labor and birthing events. The integration of all three modules will provide a powerful framework for longitudinal research and outcome analysis across the hospital’s most important service lines (Women and Children’s) and eventual across all Sutter Health affiliate birthing centers.

We also utilize SoC to collect data for the Sutter Health First Pregnancy and Delivery (FPAD) initiative that was started by San Francisco’s leading perinatologist,” stated St. Luke’s Director of Acute Care Services, Vicky Landes, RN, MS.
St. Luke’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Medical Director Robert Roth, MD, further states, “We now have the ability to participate in benchmarking activities with other Sutter Health affiliate hospitals. This collaborative effort will ultimately lead to delivering the very best of care to our mothers and their babies. The implementation of Site of Care Systems will also provide us with a state-of-the-art conduit of communication between follow-up pediatricians within the community and between hospitals. Therefore providers and medical professionals will have immediate access to pertinent medical information.”
