Site of Care implements pilot program at Kaiser Permanente

San Francisco, CA and Santa Clara, CA – March 19, 2002 – Site of Care Systems, the leading provider of integrated data management tools for improving quality in maternal and child healthcare, today announced the successful installation of The Daily Baby Center into Kaiser Foundation Hospital of Santa Clara. The pilot program is the first implementation of Site of Care Systems into the nationally recognized Kaiser-owned family of hospitals and medical centers. Part of Site of Care’s integrated suite of solutions, The Daily Baby Center is used by neonatal care providers for tracking the care of infants to optimize clinical and financial outcomes, improve productivity and simplify data-driven clinical decision-making. Within Kaiser Permanente there is a committed effort and desire to standardize the reporting of neonatal outcome measures, documentation, and querying capabilities in the nursery settings. Site of Care System’s Daily Baby Center was selected as the system to drive these standardizations.

Personnel from Kaiser Santa Clara attended Site of Care’s February System Administrator training class in San Francisco and will begin use of the system in mid March.
