Site of Care Systems Raises 3.5 Million in Second Round Funding
San Francisco, CA – Site of Care Systems, developer of clinical information systems focusing in Women’s and Infants’ Healthcare, announced it has raised $3.5 million in its Series B round of funding led by a group of private investors. The company said funds from the new round will be used to fuel company growth, expand the company’s sales and marketing efforts, enhance its software interface capabilities, and continue the development of its core products. To date Site of Care Systems has raised over $5 million in financing. Since the arrival in May 2000 of a new CEO, Site of Care Systems has opened sales offices in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, & Washington DC, expanded employees from 8 to 25 which includes the hiring of an experienced Management and Development team, signed a Global Contract with Sutter Health, one of the nations largest leading healthcare providers, and secured its Series B round of funding. The Company is beginning to seek its third and final round of funding from Institutional and/ or strategic investors to continue to implement its business plan, complete the development of its physician based products and web portal that will bring parents, children, doctors, and others served by Site of Care together.
