Executive Team
Jean-Olivier Holingue, President, directs and oversees the operational, technical and product design aspects of the company. Mr. Holingue has developed and managed many database applications, and Internet sites in Europe, the Far East, and the United States. While a member of the computer science faculty at University of Paris, Holingue earned a reputation as a leader in his field, publishing various books and papers on software development technologies, telecommunication projects, and Web applications. His professional career reflects experience working for major publication companies, including Bordas, International Thomson Publishing, Addison-Wesley, and IDG where he was Vice President of Technology. Most recently, Holingue has been managing several engineering projects for AOL/Netscape. He has also been researching various search and knowledge management technologies.
Holingue holds a Master of Science from the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He also holds a doctorial degree in applied economics from L'Institut d'Etudes Politiques (also known as Sciences-Po) in Paris.
Martha Smith, RN, MSN, Vice President of Clinical Services, oversees clinical product design and coordinates client services. Her clinical background has been primarily in the Intensive Care Nursery, but she has been actively involved in preterm birth prevention programs, home care, and research. Clinical venues have included neonatal air transports, maternal-fetal physician practice management, coordination of California Department of Maternal Child Health patient care program grants, and hospital based clinical specialist roles in both pediatrics and intensive care nurseries.
Martha holds a BSN from the University of Michigan and a MSN in Perinatal/Neonatal Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco.
Kevin Shrieve, Vice President of Technical Services, oversees installations and upgrades of the Site of Care Application Suite and manages its release cycle. He directs the Site of Care Call Center which provides 24/7 support to clients, and is responsible for the training of hospital IT staff. Previously he served as the East Coast Region Technical Support Manager for computer manufacturer Sidereal Corporation.
He studied at Columbia College in New York City, the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science, and L'Universite de Strasbourg in Strasbourg, France.
Product Visionaries
Terri Slagle, MD, is Director of the Neonatal Outreach Program of California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. The Neonatal Outreach Program is a service that coordinates the transfer of babies in need of special care from other Bay Area hospitals to California Pacific's Newborn Intensive Care Nursery. She also serves as Medical Director of Nurseries at Mills-Peninsula Hospital. Dr. Slagle received her medical training st SUNY-Syracuse and M.D. from Medical College of Wisconsin. She is board certified in neonatal-perinatal medicine.
Elliot Main, MD, Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, Dr. Main has been on the Medical Center staff since 1987. While his clinical work and publications have focused on medical complications of pregnancy, his research centers on outcomes-based quality improvement. Consequently, Dr. Main is deeply involved in Sutter Health's "First Pregnancy and Delivery" initiative. Dr. Main trained in obstetrics/gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine at Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis, Mo.) and University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Main is a scientific reviewer for a variety of professional journals. He is an expert in high-risk conditions and medical complications during pregnancy, and teaches extensively on this subject.
